		Descartes' MobileLink^TM group of applications provides integrated 1-way and 2-way wireless communications between dispatchers and drivers for routing planning and dispatch.Mobile devices in the field feed data to a wireless communications server called MobileLink Gateway^TM to provide a single point of access across multiple networks. This service is available for set-up behind a firewall or as a hosted service, for those who don't want to incur hardware/software expenses and other additional costs.

MobileLink Commerce^TMClosing the Order-to-Cash Cycle for Home Delivery
For home delivery operations, but useful in any market where you need to collect payments & increase cash flow. With MobileLink Commerce wireless access, drivers can process payments at point of delivery (credit card and/or printed recipts & invoices).
Drivers can also verify orders & record changes at point of delivery, recalculate prices, or close out return credits & adjustments. Add-on features include touch-screen, barcode scanning, signature capture, GPS/AVL location and more.

Mobilelink Distribution^TMImproving Customer Service
For distribution operations, where typically there is no payment collection at time of delivery and no dynamic routing requirements. Improve customer service by equipping road carries with wireless access to customer order information at point of delivery.
Designed for drivers delivering goods from a DC to inter-company stores or retail centers/business customers, MobileLink Distribution can be configured for freight scanning (line item, carton, order level or all 3). Drivers can also make line item order changes at time of delivery, or print new invoices on site. Using the barcode scanning add-on at the warehouse before departure means that drivers can verify their loads, check routes and eliminate any shortages.

MobileLink Transportation^TMImproving Pickup & Delivery Operations
For common carriers and where you need to handle dynamic pickup requests. MobileLink Transportation (formerly MobileLink Freight) offers wireless two-way data communications between road transportation companies and their drivers.
Track driver locations/equipment, monitor load tendering and manage proof of pickups and deliveries. Drivers can also easily communicate new workload assignments (dynamic pickup requests). Add-on features include barcode scanning (order, carton), signature capture, exception management, canned messaging, drop and hook equipment tracking and more.
